Goldex on mobile: Android, iPhone and Huawei

Is there a Goldex app to download?

Goldex doesn't have an official app on Google Play or the App Store; you play in your phone's browser and can add a shortcut to your Home Screen. Searching "Goldex app download" returns apps that share the name but have nothing to do with Goldex, such as a Pokédex reference app, a gold-trading app and a fitness app; don't install them. There is no Huawei AppGallery listing either, so every file marketed as a "Goldex APK" is a third-party build: nobody vouches for its contents, its signing key or what it does after install.

Playing Goldex on Android

There is no official Goldex APK, so the route on Android is the mobile site with a Home Screen shortcut.

1. Open Chrome and go to the official Goldex site.
2. Sign in, then open the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen.
3. Open Goldex from the new icon rather than from your browser history.
4. Ignore APK files and Google Play results that use the Goldex name: they are other developers' apps.
5. If you already sideloaded one, uninstall it, check Settings for leftover accessibility or device-admin grants, and revoke the "install unknown apps" permission from your browser.

iPhone: Home Screen shortcut

There is no sideloading route on a stock iPhone, and there is no Goldex app in the App Store, so you use the website through Safari.

1. Skip App Store results named Goldex: they are unrelated gold-trading and fitness apps from other developers.
2. Ignore any site offering an iOS install through a configuration profile, a TestFlight invite or an enterprise certificate; those routes revoke without warning and hand a stranger device-level trust.
3. Open the official Goldex site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen to get a full-screen icon that behaves like an app.
4. Rename the shortcut on the Add to Home Screen sheet so you can tell it apart from a store-installed app.
5. Enable Face ID for Safari AutoFill under Settings → Passwords if you want biometric sign-in from that shortcut.

Huawei phones: AppGallery and the Google Play gap

Huawei devices sold since 2019 ship without Google Mobile Services, so anything that depends on Google Play Services will not run. We found no Goldex listing in AppGallery.

1. Skip AppGallery results that use the Goldex name: there is no official listing.
2. Open the official Goldex site in Huawei Browser and add it to your Home Screen: it needs no HMS, no APK and no permissions.

Data-free versions

There is no data-free or zero-rated Goldex build. Data-free apps are a South African arrangement — an operator pays MTN, Vodacom or Telkom to carry that app's traffic at no charge to the subscriber — and they exist because prepaid data there is expensive relative to income. Nothing equivalent is published for Goldex on any platform.

In Canada the concept barely applies. Rogers, Bell and Telus do not zero-rate gambling or third-party utility apps, and the CRTC's 2017 differential pricing ruling made carrier-sponsored data exemptions largely off-limits. If a page tells you a Canadian Goldex app runs "without using data", it is describing something that does not exist here. Budget for the data instead: every session runs over your normal plan or Wi-Fi.

Deposits and withdrawals

Money moves through the operator account you sign in to, in CAD, through Interac e-Transfer, cards and the usual Canadian banking rails including TD, RBC, BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC, National Bank, Desjardins, Tangerine, Simplii and EQ Bank. Minimums, clearing times and fees differ by method and by operator, so check them per method rather than assuming one figure covers all.

When the site will not open or sign you in

If the site will not load from your Home Screen icon, open it in the browser first: a shortcut saved against an old address keeps pointing there, so delete it and add it again from the official site.

There is nothing to update: the browser always loads the current build.

Sign-in problems are almost never device problems. Credentials live with the operator, so test the same login on a computer: if it fails in both places, the account is the issue, not the phone.
